Martha was born about 1714. Martha's father was Thomas Tabb and her mother was Elizabeth Moss. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Tabb and Martha Moore; her maternal grandfather was Edward Moss. She had a brother named Edward. She was the younger of the two children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Thomas, Henry, Mary, Diana and Rachel.-
