Diana was born about 1730. Diana's father was John Tabb and her mother was Mary Sclater. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Tabb and Mary Heyward; her maternal grandparents were James Sclater and Mary ?. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, William, Elizabeth, Rachel, Jolena, Joanna, Sarah, Martha and Mary. She was the third youngest of the ten children.-
