Francis was born on November 23rd, 1743. Francis' father was Anthony Strother and his mother was Beheathland Storke. His paternal grandparents were William Strother and Margaret Thornton; his maternal grandparents were William Storke and Elizabeth Hart. He had six brothers and five sisters, named William, Anthony, William, Benjamin, Storke, John, Elizabeth, Margaret, Betty, Beheathland and Alice.-
