Margaret Thornton 
Margaret was born on August 14th, 1674 in Petsworth Parish, Gloucester Co., VA. Margaret's father was William Thornton and her mother was Elizabeth FitzHugh. Her paternal grandparents were William Thornton and Elizabeth Rowland; her maternal grandfather was John FitzHugh. She had two brothers and eight sisters, named William, Francis, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah Alice, Jane, Judith, Anna, Susan and Esther. She had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Seth, William, John, Joshua, Francis, Susan and Prudence. She died at the age of 82 in 1756 in King George Co., VA.-
