Her paternal grandparents were William Strother and Margaret Thornton; her maternal grandparents were William Storke and Elizabeth Hart. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named William, Anthony, Francis, William, Benjamin, Storke, John, Elizabeth, Margaret, Beheathland and Alice.-
