William R. Stanley

William R. was born about 1855 in Hanover Co., Virginia.  William R.'s father was William R. Stanley and his mother was Sarah J. ?. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Marcellus, Henry, Benjamin, James J., Samuel, Clifton, Julian, Pendleton, Sarah, Nettie and Ida.  He was the oldest of the twelve children.
