James J. Stanley

James J. was born in 1860 in Hanover Co., Virginia.  James J.'s father was William R. Stanley and his mother was Sarah J. ?. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named William R., Marcellus, Henry, Benjamin, Samuel, Clifton, Julian, Pendleton, Sarah, Nettie and Ida.  He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
