John Stanley 
John was born in 1803 in Virginia. John's father was John Stanley and his mother was Catherine Elizabeth Stanley. His paternal grandparents were Zachariah Stanley and Susannah Mendenhall; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Stanley and Catherine Hilton. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Joel, Daniel, Jeremiah, Abijah, Samuel, Susannah, Permelia, Catherine, Rachael, Betsy and Phebe. He died at the age of 62 in 1865 in Randolph Co., Indiana.-
