James Stanley 
James was born in 1855 in Hanover Co., Virginia. James' father was Richard James Stanley and his mother was Jane Frances Stanley. He had three brothers and two sisters, named George Wesley, Edward Thomas, Robert, Louisiana and Eliza J.. He was the third oldest of the six children.
