Isaac was born on July 5th, 1782 in North Carolina. Isaac's father was Micajah Stanley and his mother was Barbara Walker. His paternal grandparents were James Stanley and Catherine Hutchins. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Mahlon, James, Anthony, Catherine and Sarah.-
