Catherine was born on May 28th, 1779 in North Carolina. Catherine's father was Micajah Stanley and her mother was Barbara Walker. Her paternal grandparents were James Stanley and Catherine Hutchins. She had five brothers and a sister, named William, Isaac, Mahlon, James, Anthony and Sarah.-
