Macon Shoemaker

Macon was born about 1820 in Goochland Co., Virginia.  Macon's father was Holman Shoemaker and his mother was Mary Woodrom.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Shoemaker and Frances Shephard. He had two brothers and a sister, named William S., Fleming P. and Janette Pauline.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had two half-sisters named Virginia C. and Josephine.  He died in 1841 in Goochland Co., Virginia.
