William Henry Roane 
William Henry was born on September 17th, 1787 in Hanover Co., Virginia. William Henry's father was Spencer Roane and his mother was Anne Henry. His paternal grandparents were William Roane and ? Ball; his maternal grandparents were Patrick Henry and Sarah Anne Shelton. He had a brother named Fayette. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 57 on May 11th, 1845 in "Tree Hill", Henrico Co., Virginia.-
