William Ragland 
William was born about 1762. William's father was William Ragland and his mother was Agnes Lipscomb. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Lipscomb and Sarah MackGehee. He had eight sisters named Lucy, Martha, Louisa, Mary, Sarah, Anna, Henrietta and Rebecca. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.-
