John Mifflin Quarles 
John Mifflin was born on August 6th, 1887. John Mifflin's father was William Edmond Quarles and his mother was Nellie Annett Elizabeth Morgan. His paternal grandparents were Lemuel B. Quarles and Jane McKenzie Ladd. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Henry Franklin, James Cowardin, Lemuel Cleveland, Luther McKenzie, Lucy Bell and Nan Jan. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died before December 1888.-
