Samuel Pryor 
Samuel was born in 1725. Samuel's father was Samuel Pryor and his mother was Prudence Thornton. His paternal grandparents were Robert Pryor and Elizabeth Virginia Green; his maternal grandparents were William Thornton and Prudence Willis. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Luke, William, Thornton, Robert, Joseph, John, Francis, Nancy and Molly. He died about 1816 in Amelia Co., VA.-
