Elizabet D. was born on April 23rd, 1861. Elizabet D.'s father was Charles T. Pleasants and her mother was Mary Lightfoot Woodson. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson Woodson and Dianne Michie. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Jefferson, Charles T., Samuel F., Josiah Alexander, William Q., Blandina Homozelle and Lucy W.. She was the youngest of the eight children.-
