William Aylor Petty 
William Aylor was born in January 1917 in West Virginia. William Aylor's father was Henry Marshall Petty and his mother was Annie Marie Kent. His paternal grandparents were William Crittendon Petty and Sallie B. Routt; his maternal grandparents were E. Kent and S. ?. He had a brother and three sisters, named Henry Marshall, Katie Alberta, Mollie Evelyn and Maxine Kent. He was the second youngest of the five children.
