Maxine Kent was born on January 23rd, 1920. Maxine Kent's father was Henry Marshall Petty and her mother was Annie Marie Kent. Her paternal grandparents were William Crittendon Petty and Sallie B. Routt; her maternal grandparents were E. Kent and S. ?. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry Marshall, William Aylor, Katie Alberta and Mollie Evelyn. She was the youngest of the five children.
