Robert Shepherd Pendleton 
Robert Shepherd was born on March 20th, 1824.1 Robert Shepherd's father was William Pendleton and his mother was Susan Snodgrass. His paternal grandparents were William Pendleton and Elizabeth Fargeson. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William Henry, Nathaniel, Philip Edmund, Stephen James, Anne Eliza, Susan Verdier Shepherd and Eleanor. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 56 in 1880.1 -
