William Daniel Payne 
William Daniel was born on June 29th, 1828 in Fluvanna Co., Virginia. William Daniel's father was Thomas Joseph Payne and his mother was Theodosia Bybee. His maternal grandparents were Pleasant Bybee and Mildred Priddy. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Joseph Bybee, Thompson, Samuel, Sarah E. and Susan Banks. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 71 on January 6th, 1900 in Fluvanna Co., Virginia.-
