Purcell C. Payne 
Purcell C.'s father was Charles Byron Payne and his mother was Olivia Vivian Anderson. His paternal grandparents were Barrett George Washington Payne and Martha Ann Humphries; his maternal grandparents were James Henry Anderson and Lucy V. Richardson. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Claude Hampton, Charles Byron, Josephine C. and Lucy Virginia. He had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Edmond P., Emmett A., Floyd, Monty Rae, William Barrett, James W., Martha and Virginia E.. He died in September 1979.-
