Nathan Lewis Payne 
Nathan Lewis was born on June 28th, 1900. Nathan Lewis' father was Patrick Henry Payne and his mother was Mary Frances Payne. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Payne and Nancy Emery Mahanes; his maternal grandparents were James W. Payne and Margaret Beard Mahanes. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Albert Fleming, Lafayette Thomas, Henry Blueford, Wallace James, Andrew Grayton, Ollie Gordon, Yewuell Monroe, Julia Anna, Margaret Snow, Mollie Viola Lee and Daisy Anne. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 80 on December 1st, 1980.-
