Andrew Grayton Payne 
Andrew Grayton was born on March 9th, 1897. Andrew Grayton's father was Patrick Henry Payne and his mother was Mary Frances Payne. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Payne and Nancy Emery Mahanes; his maternal grandparents were James W. Payne and Margaret Beard Mahanes. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Albert Fleming, Lafayette Thomas, Henry Blueford, Wallace James, Nathan Lewis, Ollie Gordon, Yewuell Monroe, Julia Anna, Margaret Snow, Mollie Viola Lee and Daisy Anne. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 75 on August 7th, 1972.-
