Nannie Mildred was born on August 3rd, 1865 in Fluvanna Co., Virginia. Nannie Mildred's father was William Daniel Payne and her mother was Nancy Catherine Bourne. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Joseph Payne and Theodosia Bybee; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Bourne and Susan Moss. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John Daniel, James Spencer, Lucy Ella and Molly Frances. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 88 on September 6th, 1953 in Fluvanna Co., Virginia.-
