Archer Alexander Payne

Archer Alexander was born on July 28th, 1805. Archer Alexander's father was Alexander Spotswood Payne and his mother was Charlotte Bryce. His paternal grandparents were Archer Payne and Martha Dandridge; his maternal grandparents were Archibald Bryce and Mary Mitchell. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Robert Spotswood, George Woodson, David Bryce, James Ferguson, William Michel, Martha Dandridge, Ann Bryce, Lilias James, Charlotte Bryce and Harriett Jane. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 20 on July 20th, 1826.
