David Parrish 
David was born on April 25th, 1775 in Goochland Co., Virginia. David's father was Humphrey Parrish and his mother was Elizabeth Lane. His paternal grandparents were Humphrey Parrish and Mary Morton Hamilton; his maternal grandparents were John Layne and Elizabeth Ayers. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Humphrey, George, Dabney, Constance, Elizabeth, Mary and Sally. He was the youngest of the nine children.-
