McNeill and Catherine Cameron; her maternal grandparents were John Henry Pryor and Margaret Gaines. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, Angus, John Pryor, Hector, Pryor, Malcolm, Margaret, Henrieta and Eliza S.. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children.-
