James Woodville Maury 
James Woodville was born on March 18th, 1823. James Woodville's father was James Francis Maury and his mother was Mary Randolph. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Maury and Mildred Thornton Washington; his maternal grandparents were Henry Randolph and Lucy Ward. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Francis, James Woodville, Gilbert Lafayette, Catherine Mildred and Agnes Gray. He was the third oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry Randolph, Seth Brett, Lucy Ward and Mary Goode.-
