Peter Massie 
Peter was born on May 4th, 1718 in New Kent Co., VA. Peter's father was Charles Massie and his mother was Ann Macon. His paternal grandparents were Peter Massie and Penelope Ashley Cooper; his maternal grandparents were Gideon Macon and Martha Woodward. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Gordon, David, Thomas, James, Nathaniel, Anna, Elizabeth, Mary and Cecelia. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died after 1756 in Goochland Co., VA.-
