Joseph T. was born on February 28th, 1899 in Richmond, VA. Joseph T.'s father was Owen Francis Marrin and his mother was Elenora Tinsley. His maternal grandparents were Albert Newton Tinsley and Elizabeth B. Smith. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Owen J., John, Edward Reeves, Marie, Nellie and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 91 on December 25th, 1990 in Richmond, VA.-
