William Lipscomb 
William was born on March 28th, 1731 in Hanover Co., VA. William's father was Thomas Lipscomb and his mother was Sarah MackGehee. His paternal grandparents were Joel Lipscomb and Mary ?; his maternal grandparents were Thomas MackGehee and Ann Baytop. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Thomas, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth, Susannah, Anna and Agnes. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 78 on March 13th, 1810 in Spartanburg, SC.-
