Claiborne Whitehead Lawson 
Claiborne Whitehead's father was Benjamin Lawson and his mother was Elizabeth Claiborne. His maternal grandparents were William Claiborne and Elizabeth Whitehead. He had three brothers and a sister, named Robert, Benjamin, William and Philadelphia Whitehead. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Jonathan, Philip Whitehead, Samuel Atkinson, Lucy Atkinson, Catherine and Elizabeth. He died after August 6th, 1780 in Mortally wounded at Hanging Rock, South Carolina.-
