Minnie J. was born on February 9th, 1891. Minnie J.'s father was James Taylor Kidd and her mother was Ella Gray Richardson. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel G. Richardson and Mary Anne Kennon. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Vivian Samuel, BabyBoy, Percy Gray, Clarence Wingo, Eva Maud, Viola G. and Marie Blanche. She was the youngest of the eight children.-
