Alice Maud Jones

Alice Maud was born on July 7th, 1879 in New Store, VA.  Alice Maud's father was Louis Dibrell LeGrand Jones and her mother was Louisa Thomas Flippen.  Her paternal grandparents were William Jones and Judith LeGrande; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Daniel Flippen and Mary Page Hobson. She had eleven brothers and three sisters, named Paul Marion, Monroe, Louis Dibrell, Edgar, Clinton Hobson, Henry LeGrand, Menville, William Hatcher, Plummer Flippen, Maben Somerville, Ernest, Mary Louisa, Annie Page and Ethelyn LeGrande.  She was the third youngest of the fifteen children.
