Stephen Edgar Harris

Stephen Edgar was born on January 1st, 1854 in Hanover Co., Virginia.  Stephen Edgar's father was Stephen O. Harris and his mother was Dianah Smith.  His paternal grandparents were Solomon Harris and Elizabeth Hogan; his maternal grandparents were James Smith and Joann Thacker. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Edward Mann, Philip Solomon, James Tonis, Montgomery Malcolm, Stephen W., Julian Richard, Darthuly A. and Mary Lou Joy.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.
