Edward Mann Harris

Edward Mann was born on July 12th, 1852 in Hanover Co., Virginia.  Edward Mann's father was Stephen O. Harris and his mother was Dianah Smith.  His paternal grandparents were Solomon Harris and Elizabeth Hogan; his maternal grandparents were James Smith and Joann Thacker. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Stephen Edgar, Philip Solomon, James Tonis, Montgomery Malcolm, Stephen W., Julian Richard, Darthuly A. and Mary Lou Joy.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.
