William Haden 
William was born on February 28th, 1828. William's father was John Nelson Haden and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Woodson. His paternal grandparents were John Nelson Haden and Susanna Woodson Payne; his maternal grandparents were Booth Woodson and Nancy Pryor. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Albert Douglas, John Nelson, James Meriwether, Samuel Hopkins, Susan Woodson, Nancy Pryor, Eliza, Polly and Patsy Meriwether. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.-
