Samuel Shield Fleming

Samuel Shield was born on October 6th, 1873. Samuel Shield's father was William Randolph Fleming and his mother was Lelia Anna Shield. His paternal grandparents were Tarleton Fleming and Rebecca Elizabeth Coles; his maternal grandparents were William Henry Shield and Anna Byrd Corbin. He had six brothers named William Randolph, Henry Corbin, Orland Fairfax, Thomas Mann, Tarleton Beverley and Charles Spotswood. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 on October 27th, 1943.
