William Ellyson 
William was born in 1798. William's father was Zachariah Ellyson and his mother was Mary Votaw. His paternal grandparents were Gideon Ellyson and Margery Stanley; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Votaw and Ann Hough Smith. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Isaac, Gideon, Zachariah, Robert, John, Joseph, Margery and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 63 in 1861.-
