Laura B. was born about 1902.1 Laura B.'s father was Henry J. Edwards and her mother was Nancy Lewis Stanley. Her paternal grandparents were William T. Edwards and Lucinda M. Hall; her maternal grandparents were Grandison A. Stanley and Susan Eudora Edwards. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Edgar Thomas, Walter, Clarence, Arthur, Lucinda Susan, Lottie and Lillie. She was the second youngest of the eight children.-
