Virginia DuVal 
Virginia was born in 1826. Virginia's father was Francis DuVal and her mother was Elizabeth Smith Curtis. Her paternal grandfather was William Duval. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles Curtis, Charles Chichester, Christopher, John Robert, Ann Elizabeth, Lucy Maria and Indiana. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Francis, Mary and Elizabeth.-
