Ann Elizabeth DuVal 
Ann Elizabeth was born in 1812 in Tarboro, North Carolina. Ann Elizabeth's father was Francis DuVal and her mother was Elizabeth Smith Curtis. Her paternal grandfather was William Duval. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles Curtis, Charles Chichester, Christopher, John Robert, Lucy Maria, Virginia and Indiana. She was the oldest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Francis, Mary and Elizabeth. She died at the age of 54 in 1866 in Gloucester Co., Virginia.-
