Lucinda was born about 1783 in Amherst Co., VA. Lucinda's father was Moses Davis and her mother was Millicent Carter. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Davis and Elizabeth ?; her maternal grandparents were Solomon Carter and Mary Ann Bickley. She had five brothers and a sister, named Frederick, Lindsey, John D., James Ware, Elisha and Mary. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died before 1836 in Dallas, AL.-
