James Thomas B. Cocke 
James Thomas B. was born about 1825. James Thomas B.'s father was John Ruffin Cocke and his mother was Mary Coleman Scott. His paternal grandparents were John Cocke and Lucy Herbert Claiborne; his maternal grandparents were John Baytop Scott and Elizabeth Coleman. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William T. S., Edward A. R., John, Lucy Herbert and Martha Thompson. He died before 1857.-
