Sallie Richard Childress 
Sallie Richard was born on September 5th, 1852. Sallie Richard's father was Robert Minor Childress and her mother was Lucy Ann Overton Minor. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Childress and Ann Key Johnston; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Minor and Dorothea Pomfrett Johnston. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Henry, John Waller, Dabney Z., Dorothy Minor, Marie Emily, Lucy Ida, Dorothy Overton and Emma. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 62 on April 10th, 1915 in Scottsville, VA.-
