Samuel Chappell 
Samuel was born about 1696 in Charles City Co., VA. Samuel's father was Thomas Chappell and his mother was Elizabeth Jones. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Chappell and Mary Bannister; his maternal grandparents were James Jones and Sarah Lewis. He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Robert, James and Annie. He was the youngest of the five children. He died on November 21st, 1749 in Surry Co., VA.
