James Chappell 
James was born on May 10th, 1694 in Charles City Co., VA. James' father was Thomas Chappell and his mother was Elizabeth Jones. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Chappell and Mary Bannister; his maternal grandparents were James Jones and Sarah Lewis. He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Robert, Samuel and Annie. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 74 on February 12th, 1769 in Sussex Co., VA.
