John Chappell 
John was born in 1720 in Prince George Co., VA. John's father was Robert Chappell and his mother was Sarah Cox. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Chappell and Elizabeth Jones. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert, James, Sarah, Mary and Ann. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 55 in April 1775 in Amelia Co., VA.-
