John Carter 
John's father was John Carter and his mother was Elizabeth Hill. His paternal grandparents were Robert Carter and Judith Armistead; his maternal grandparents were Edward Hill and Elizabeth Williams. He had two brothers and a sister, named Charles, Edward and Elizabeth Hill. He died after 1728.-
